The colours of Verona, mixed by hand

Long before a Chesini is ridden, it is coloured. In the paint room of our Verona workshop, a shade is mixed by eye against the light of the courtyard, sprayed in thin patient coats, then hand-lined with a brush and a steady wrist.

Some owners bring a memory — the green of a childhood shutter, the bordeaux of a favourite wine, the burnt orange of an autumn ride through the Lessinia. We match it, and we sign it. No two Chesini wear quite the same colour, because no two owners see quite the same world.

It is the last thing we do before a frame leaves us, and the first thing you will notice for the next hundred years.
