Autumn has arrived in Verona. The leaves are turning, the air is crisp, and the golden hills are calling.

The vendemmia — Amarone’s prized wine harvest — wrapped up in early October, and now the Valpolicella vineyards, just five minutes from our historic city-center atelier, are shedding their summer green. As the figs disappear and the humidity fades, riding these sun-kissed hills becomes a pure seasonal joy.

Chestnuts scatter across the streets as we climb, the scent of roasted caldarroste soon to follow. The Lessini Mountains reveal themselves through thinning forests, their peaks framed by falling leaves. Pomegranates and persimmons hang ripe in the trees, and soon, our team will join local friends for the olive harvest — pressing the first oil of the season.

Though the sun still graces our rides, the cooler air calls for a new layer. That’s why our Chesini designers are preparing the long-awaited 100th Anniversary Fall/Winter Collection. Our signature ¾-length performance pants pair perfectly with custom aero socks, and the lightweight, Verona-inspired jackets are made to warm you on cool descents.
